What’s the Process

Once the plat is successfully submitted to the district, a confirmation email will be sent with all documents originally submitted as verification of your submission. The Fort Bend County Tax Office will also receive a copy of your confirmation email notifying them of the submission.

Information submitted on the Plat Submission page must match the plat or map file submitted. Any change from the original submission must be resubmitted as a new submission.

Submissions will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Turnaround time is typically within 10 working days.  Once the plat has been worked and the properties identified, an email will be sent verifying completion to the email address provided by the submitter  and to the Fort Bend County Tax Office.
